When you have determined that Black Bear Web Design is the design business for your site we will begin communicating about what it is you want. We offer a variety of ways for communicating with Adam W. Metzler. Communication can take place through email, over the phone, or through the forum. All customers will receive a username and password and at that point you can log in to our forum and have discussions with Adam. You will receive a special forum section that only you and Adam can see or post in. From there we can communicate through discussions about your website. You will have access to the forum with a dedicated forum section as long as you remain a customer.
Websites begin at $99 for a 3 page web layout. From there we will discuss what will be needed on your site for it to meet your needs. Typically it costs $35 per additional page, the only reason the cost may be higher is for more advanced page features but basic informational pages are $35/page. Some sites will require additional resources which can be web stores, blogs, forums, and a variety of other online services which is when content management systems are used. A content management site begins at $250 which includes 5 web pages. Additional costs will be added depending on the additional features you would like to have on your website. All costs will be determined before the design process begins. The initial cost includes quarterly updates for the first year. After the first year it will cost $75/year which entitles you to a continuation of quarterly updates and full support access. This yearly cost does not include web hosting and domain name purchase/renewal costs which are explained below.
Quarterly updates imply that customers are entitled to having information currently on the website edited, removed, or added to. Quarterly updates cover basic updates to a website. Anything that exceeds basic updates will cost $25/hour of web design work. Additional work includes additional website pages being added, additional features added to the website, and a variety of other services that can be done to improve your website to meet your ongoing needs.
Web hosting, domain name purchases/renewals, and account payments are handled by 207 Technologies. Web hosting for a basic site and email costs $10/month and $20/month for larger sites and content managed websites.
We can also help you with your domain name purchases. We can purchase and renew your domain name(s) each year for $15/year.
